A Tesla driver is believed to have staged the world's biggest anti-Elon Musk protest - by raking a 250m-long 'Don't buy a Tesla' message into the sand on a Welsh beach.

The driver, named only as Prama, carved out the words - alongside a silhouette of the now infamous 'salute' billionaire Musk gave on Trump's Inauguration Day. 

British political campaign group Led By Donkeys staged the protest on Black Rock Sands - Traeth y Greigddu - near Porthmadog, Wales.

It was made by attaching a huge rake to the back of a Tesla Model 3, which was driven around the beach to create the 250m x 150m message.

The group claims it is the 'world's biggest anti-Elon Musk protest' and that the driver is now selling her Tesla in response to the CEO's political views. 

A spokesperson for the group said: 'Like thousands of others, Prama is selling her Tesla in response to Musk's embrace of the global far-right.'

Explaining why she has put the car on the market after six years, Prama said: 'When he started getting on to the ticket of the extreme far-right, that's when I started thinking I'm not sure I should be driving a Tesla.

'Please, don't buy a Tesla.'

The protest comes following a wave of attacks targeting Tesla vehicles across the world due to their connection with Musk - who owns the company.

One Cybertruck owner in New York City was left stunned as he watched a man deface his vehicle with a swastika in protest against Musk.

Avi Ben Hamo was just across the street when Michael Lewis, 42, appeared to scrawl something on the side of his $80,000 electric truck.

Photos and video from the scene show he had written 'Elon' and drew a swastika on the drivers' side door.

But Ben Hamo, 45, jumped in front of Lewis's Subaru to block his getaway.

'Where are you going?' he asked Lewis as he dialed 911, according to video taken at the scene.

At that point, Lewis decided to ditch his vehicle in the bike lane and ran away.

When he returned about an hour-and-a-half later to retrieve his car, Lewis was confronted by four police officers who handcuffed and arrested him - charging him with aggravated harassment.

Musk himself even commented on the situation, suggesting that Lewis is 'crazy.'

'Naturally, he drives a Subaru,' Musk wrote.

Meanwhile in Belfast on Sunday, a Tesla dealership was attacked with vandals accused of damaging around 20 cars.

The vehicles were found with broken wing mirrors, smashed windows and bodywork dents.

In a statement issued on Monday, Police Service Northern Ireland (PSNI) said: 'The damage is believed to have occurred at some point in the last 24 hours.

'Approximately 20 vehicles have been targeted. Most have had their wing mirrors knocked off, while others have also had windows smashed or received dents to the bodywork.

'Inquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.'

Officers have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with information about the vandalism to come forward.

Earlier this month, a dealership in France was set ablaze destroying 12 vehicles worth a staggering £550,000 in what authorities are treating as a deliberate attack.

The fire broke out around 3:15am on Monday March 3 at the dealership in Plaisance-du-Touch, near Toulouse, according to the local prosecutor's office.

In the United States, Molotov cocktails have been thrown at cars and Tesla charging stations have been destroyed.

A Tesla showroom in Salem, Oregon, was shot at with an AR 15-style rifle in February. Suspected vandal Adam Matthew Lansky, bao tay ninh 41, is also accused of causing major damage at the same store with Molotov cocktails in January.

Similarly, four Tesla cybertrucks were set ablaze overnight at a storage lot in Seattle's industrial SoDo neighborhood, KING-TV reported.

In more peaceful forms of protests, thousands of Americans have demonstrated outside Tesla showrooms across the country.

The spike in vandalism against Tesla prompted President Trump to describe the attacks as 'domestic terrorism'.

Speaking outside the White House alongside Musk - who is the head of Trump's Department of Government Efficiency - Trump announced plans to punish anyone that went after the company.

Trump said: 'I'm gonna stop 'em if we catch anybody doing it because they're harming a great American company.'
