Using WhatsApp Disappearing Messages can be a useful approach to add some extra security to your conversations and protect your sensitive information. When you send the message, you'll see a little clock icon in the message area signifying that the message will disappear after a set amount of time.

Keep in mind that disappearing messages can have a set amount of time set against each, there are several options available including 1 minute and a set duration durations in which the sender can define up to the message gets deleted. The recipient will be notified when this time limit is up and they will see the message area with an empty chat history it will only stay in your chat for the pre-configured time.
