EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the arrangement of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) treatment in Malaysia and was started by Wisconsin Early Autism project malaysia Autism Task (WEAP) in September 2006. Shortlisted Supervisors then sign up in EAP's 6 month Supervisor training including over 80 hours of classes over a 20 week period after which they meet weekly with their Senior Supervisor, and have bimonthly otherwise regular monthly Elder Supervision meetings for the children on their caseload.

In addition, WEAP's released research in the American Journal of Mental Deficiency (November 2005 concern) followed Dr. Ivar Lovaas' research in 1987 and 1993 where 48% of the youngsters who participated in the intensive behavioural therapy were able to catch up and get involved effectively in typical college.

Each child at EAP is appointed a group of therapists who are overseen by a Manager on a biweekly basis and an Elderly Supervisor on a bimonthly basis along with the WEAP Progression Reviews two times a year.
