EAP Malaysia is the leader of the stipulation of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was started by Wisconsin Early Autism Project (WEAP) in September 2006. For all therapists, a preliminary training consisting of 20 hours of courses and 3 weeks on hand-held training is required before beginning work with a youngster with autism after which routine fortnightly if not weekly supervision is provided with regular overlaps and team meetings.
