EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the provision of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was started by Wisconsin early autism project malaysia sdn. bhd Autism Job (WEAP) in September 2006. For all specialists, a preliminary training consisting of 20 hours of classes and 3 weeks on hand-held training is required before starting work with a youngster with autism after which regular fortnightly otherwise weekly supervision is provided through regular overlaps and group conferences.

Additionally, WEAP's published study in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 concern) followed Dr. Ivar Lovaas' study in 1987 and 1993 whereby 48% of the kids who took part in the extensive behavioural therapy had the ability to catch up and take part efficiently in common college.

Each youngster at EAP is assigned a team of specialists that are monitored by a Supervisor on a fortnightly basis and an Elderly Supervisor on a bimonthly basis in addition to the WEAP Development Reviews two times a year.
