EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the provision of Applied Behavioural Evaluation (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was started by Wisconsin early autism project malaysia Autism Job (WEAP) in September 2006. Shortlisted Supervisors then register in EAP's 6 month Supervisor training consisting of over 80 hours of classes over a 20 week period after which they satisfy once a week with their Elderly Manager, and have bimonthly if not monthly Elder Supervision meetings for the youngsters on their caseload.

Furthermore, WEAP's published research in the American Journal of Mental Retardation (November 2005 problem) was consistent with Dr. Ivar Lovaas' research study in 1987 and 1993 whereby 48% of the youngsters who participated in the extensive behavioural treatment had the ability to catch up and participate efficiently in normal institution.
