EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the stipulation of Applied Behavioural Evaluation (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was started by Wisconsin Early Autism Job (WEAP) in September 2006. For all specialists, a preliminary training consisting of 20 hours of classes and 3 weeks on hand-held training is needed before starting work with a youngster with autism after which routine fortnightly otherwise regular guidance is offered through routine overlaps and group meetings.
