I highly recommend to make use of an article submission service you can trust and stay away from pieces of software that break too frequently and that fail to submit your content after article directories make changes in their article submission platforms.
Following the steps I highlighted above, will give you tons of of backlinks, naturally spread over time, some coming from high PR sites , some from sites with low PR, some appearing as naked links, some with anchor text.
